Welcome to Emotions Arts. My name is Christina Papadodimitraki, and I’m truly glad you found your way to my e-shop. I am from Greece but currently living in Poland studying Game Development. I have been creating art as long as I can remember.

I create art that stems from deeply emotional moments that I either struggled, had fun or was inspired. And I want to express those moments in a fun and full of feelings way that maybe will capture your feelings too. I hope you will find something here that resonates with one or more moments of your own.

Something About Emotions Arts

I started creating some funny sketches with the compiler, a fundamental tool in the programming world, after I began my studies in Game Development. The compiler is really like a teacher that keeps reminding your mistakes. So, at some point I started imagining how it would react on mistakes I kept doing and made some sketches, that I had quite the laugh while doing them. After turning the sketches into a digital form I thought of creating an e-shop with them on mugs. It just felt right to see them on the mugs. Because programming, video games and the fantasy genre are very connected for me, I decided to make designs for the fantasy genre and video games too, and combine them all in one shop. All three of them have some deeply emotional effect on me and each one of them has transformed our world in many ways.

The Designs

The designs currently in Emotions Arts are inspired by three of my favourite passions: programming, video games, and the fantasy genre. Each of these has helped me through difficult times, made me stronger and helped me face challenges in my life.

Programming Inspired Designs

Programming feels like magic to me. Although it can be frustrating at times, every moment I spend coding feels like stepping into a new world. It helps me see things more clearly and gives me a sense of belonging. The compiler I use as a character in my designs is the best teacher I ever had. It can be a bit cruel but it is definitely the best tool to learn through your mistakes.

Video Games Inspired Designs

Video games, to me, are one of the most unique forms of art. They touch your soul in ways I haven't seen in any other form of art. Or at least those I have explored. They’ve opened my mind and helped me discover parts of myself I didn’t know existed. I owe them a lot, and I hope my designs capture even a small part of what others have felt while playing the games that I include in my designs.

Fantasy Inspired Designs

Fantasy is the genre that always makes me feel like a child again, curious, adventurous, and eager to explore. Creating fantasy art feels like a journey both within and beyond myself. It was the first genre that allowed me to travel to other worlds and believe, even for a moment, that a little magic might exist in our own.

Purple

While moving around Emotions Arts you will notice I use a lot purple. Purple is my favorite color because it can express so many emotions. It's a color that can feel warm and cruel depending on its use. Strong and powerful but also very sweet and sad sometimes. Which fits perfectly the waves of emotions a human can have. My purpose is that here, in Emotions Arts, it evokes a sense of warmth in you.

Epilogue

In creating my art, I use both traditional and digital techniques (such as Photoshop). Some designs are fully digital, like my programming inspired pieces, while others are a combination of inking, colouring through physical means and afterwards using photoshop to add some details or maybe some colour enhancement. I do not use AI in my work and do not plan to. I also welcome custom design requests, so if you have an idea that expresses you better, feel free to contact me directly.

Currently, I am the only person behind Emotions Arts. My dream would be in the future to have more artists that express their feelings through their designs here.

I would also like to mention that the products you see here (such as mugs or mousepads) are currently produced through dropshipping. I am working toward improving this as the shop grows and as more people connect with my work.
